The preservation and modernization of Strub Hall’s four-story, 40,000-SF facility, built in 1919, included all building systems (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, accessibility), adaptive reuse of the original service space, seismic retrofit (including a four-story reinforced concrete shear wall), historic finish preservation, and renovation of classrooms, student support center, administrative offices, visual arts studio, and kitchen.
